Prayer without words is the prayer I know best. Actually, it is prayer that cannot be known at all, just as in The Cloud of Unknowing, when silence becomes prayer.

I’ve been quietly incubating a simple new offering, an online space for silence, an online meeting in silence, for silence, stillness, just sitting, meditation, contemplation, and prayer. Non-prescriptive silence, for those of all faiths and none.

I’ll share more info about this in the coming week. Launch is intended for 1 January, but there may be a soft launch on Christmas Day, for those seeking a community of silence.

Whether many, few, one, or none join me, I will be there, in silence.
